How We Work

Transformation and healing unfold most naturally when there is a sense of safety, being seen, and held.

Establishing the Ground

An important focus of this work is strengthening the witness Self, the observer, to help you notice your inner experiences without becoming overwhelmed. This shift is essential for safely navigating the healing process.

In the wake of deep trauma, however, staying present like this can often feel threatening and out of reach. Together, we will gently reclaim that ability, slowly rebuilding a sense of trust as you learn to feel safe in your own inner world again.

Our work begins by establishing a steady, secure container during our coaching sessions. This time serves as a reliable foundation to explore your inner landscape without feeling overwhelmed, and should this happen, learning the tools to pause, regulate, and return to balance.

This external support, however, is just the first step. Our ultimate aim is to help you cultivate your own internal container and lasting inner safety. As we progress, you will be rebuilding the self-trust needed to move through the world confidently, knowing that if everyday life becomes overwhelming, you have the tools to calm your nervous system and return to balance again.

Meeting

My intention is to meet you exactly where you are, offering a place of attentive, deep listening. In this space, we honor your survival patterns and defenses as intelligent and wise responses to your life's journey. We meet these parts with respect while inviting the possibility of new, supportive ways of being.

To facilitate deep and lasting change, this work integrates several foundational tools. Through somatic awareness and trauma-informed inquiry, attention is turned to the nervous system and the roots of emotional wounding. The process explores the psyche through attachment patterns and parts work, creating a compassionate space for inner child work to unfold. This exploration extends beyond the individual to acknowledge the weight of relational, intergenerational, cultural, and racial trauma. By emphasizing the role of the voice, the work empowers you to articulate your truth and integrate these diverse layers into a cohesive sense of self.

This is a trauma-informed, soul-led, intuitive coaching approach to help you remember who you were before the world told you who to be.

Pacing

The invitation is to listen inwardly and proceed at a pace which honors your nervous system and sacred potential.

The integration of newly won awareness is supported by the gentle introduction of daily rituals which ground the inner landscape. Drawing upon the Medicine Wheel as a framework for balance, alongside mindful walks and somatic exercises, provides consistent support for your journey. This growth is navigated mindfully, ensuring that new practices are added slowly and remain manageable. The intention is to pace this work so that it becomes a restorative part of daily life, remaining steady, doable, and not overwhelming.

We begin simply by arriving. Together, we build a foundation of safety through orientation, gentle breathwork, or guided awareness. This allows time for your nervous system to settle, and supports anchoring you softly in the present moment.

Deep Listening & Inquiry

Once grounded, we gently turn toward your internal experience and the themes you are bringing to the session. By working with and strengthening the awareness of the witness self, the part of you which observes without judgment or becoming enmeshed, we explore what is present for you in a way that feels safe and supportive. We honor the natural pace of your nervous system, creating a gentle space for insights to unfold and resilience to naturally grow.

Closing & Regulation

We return mindfully to the present moment, ensuring you feel regulated and grounded before re-entering your day. To bridge the session and your daily life, we identify practical ways to anchor your new insights into your existing routines. This provides you with the tools needed to stay steady as you navigate the natural shifts in your inner landscape.
